Tree Greeter
In collaboration with Providence Parks Department and the Roger Williams Park Conservancy, our team designed and launched the “Tree Greeter”, a physical solution that exemplifies creative placemaking and public art to fulfill Roger William’s Park’s ultimate mission as “The People’s Park”.
The “Tree Greeter” is a site-specific, interactive signage that captures the park’s history and ecosystem. Visitors are encouraged to create tangible, memorable experiences across various species of trees in the park with local artists’ pieces and descriptions in English and Spanish.
